3D2N Cat Ba – Lan Ha Bay Tour from Hanoi

Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Ba Island (Meals: - / Lunch / Dinner)

• 07:00: Depart from Hanoi Old Quarter (Opera House or 9 Cho Gao Street). Travel via Hanoi–Hai Phong Expressway, then cross Tan Vu – Lach Huyen Bridge—Vietnam’s longest sea-crossing bridge—connecting the mainland to Cat Hai Island.
  Note: Weekend departures may be earlier; please follow instructions from the guide the day before.

• 11:30: Arrive in Cat Ba. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and check in to the hotel.

• Afternoon: Free time to relax or swim at Cat Co Beaches 1, 2, or 3.

• 18:30: Dinner at the hotel. Evening at leisure to explore Cat Ba Night Market or the town center. Overnight in Cat Ba.

Day 2: Cat Ba – Lan Ha Bay – Viet Hai Village – Kayaking Adventure

(Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / -)

• 05:00 (optional): Early risers can take an electric car or motorbike to Cannon Fort, offering panoramic views over Cat Ba’s surrounding islands. Enjoy sunrise and a morning coffee overlooking the bay.

• 07:00: Breakfast at the hotel

• 07:45–08:15: Transfer to Beo Pier

• 08:30–09:00: Board the cruise and begin your journey through Lan Ha Bay, one of the most beautiful bays in the world

• 09:10: Cruise through Cai Beo floating village, then deeper into the heart of Lan Ha Bay

• 10:00: Visit Viet Hai Ancient Village – a hidden gem on Cat Ba Island. Explore by bicycle, passing through the national park and coastal paths. Enjoy a local foot soak and learn about the village's fishing heritage

• 11:00: Arrive at Luon Cave – Tai Keo area, receive a kayak and safety gear, and paddle through dramatic cave systems and calm lagoons surrounded by limestone cliffs

• 12:30: Enjoy a seafood lunch onboard with fresh dishes from Cat Ba’s waters

• 13:30: Swim and jump from the boat into the clear turquoise waters of Lan Ha Bay

• 14:00: Cruise returns to Beo Pier

• 15:00: Arrive back at the hotel. Free time to relax

• Evening: Dinner on your own. Explore Cat Ba by night – take a walk, rent a tandem bike, or enjoy local bars and karaoke

Day 3: Cat Ba – National Park (Optional) – Hanoi (Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / -)

• Morning: Breakfast at the hotel. Guests may choose:

  • Option 1: Free time to swim or shop at the local seafood market

  • Option 2 (additional 15USD/pax): Visit Cat Ba National Park, including Trung Trang Cave, Hospital Cave, and a short trek to Ngu Lam Peak (Note: Minimum 10 guests required for this option)

• 11:00: Check out of the hotel and have lunch

• 12:30: Depart for Hanoi. Stop at a highway rest area to buy Hai Duong specialties as souvenirs

• 17:00–17:30: Arrive in Hanoi. End of tour. See you again soon!

• Tips for driver and guide (not mandatory, but customary):

  • Suggested amount: 3 USD/person/day

👧 Children Policy (Please read carefully)

• Children aged 1–4 years (not yet 4):

  • Free of charge (parents cover all expenses, no seat on the bus)

  • One free child per two adults; second child pays 75% of the tour price

  • If 1 adult travels with 1 child in this age range, the child pays 50% of adult price (includes ½ meal portion and a seat)

  • Children aged 2–4 will incur a 18USD fee for the Lan Ha Bay cruise

• Children aged 5–9 years (not yet 9):

  • Charged 75% of adult tour price

  • Includes meals and seat, but must share a bed with parents

  • Two children do not qualify for a separate bed

• Children aged 10 and above: Charged at full adult rate

🦞 Seafood Purchase Policy

• All seafood must be cleanly packed in sealed foam boxes

• No seafood is allowed in the passenger seating area

• Drivers may refuse transport if seafood is not properly packed or if the quantity exceeds luggage capacity

• Sun hat, sunscreen, swimwear

• Insect repellent, basic medication (for fever, stomach upset, etc.)

• Camera, smartphone, or video gear to capture your trip
