Pick-up in Ho Chi Minh City

Your guide will meet you at the designated District 1 meeting point before departing by bus for the Cu Chi Tunnels, located about 60 km from Ho Chi Minh City.

During the drive, observe the changing scenery as the busy city gradually gives way to the Vietnamese countryside, passing rice fields, small villages, roadside vendors, and water buffalo grazing in lush green landscapes.

Discover the Cu Chi Tunnels

Upon arrival, watch an informative documentary about the Cu Chi Tunnels and learn how this vast underground network played a key role during the Vietnam War.

Explore the impressive 220 km tunnel system, including hidden entrances, underground kitchens, bunkers, hospitals, meeting rooms, and weapon storage areas. Your guide will also explain how the Hoang Cam smokeless stove allowed soldiers to cook without revealing their position.

Tunnel Experience

Visitors will have the opportunity to crawl through a section of the narrow tunnels, offering a firsthand glimpse into the challenging conditions faced by Viet Cong soldiers during the war.

You will also see demonstrations of locally crafted traps and weapons used during wartime.

Local Tasting & Shooting Range

Enjoy a tasting of boiled tapioca with tea, a traditional food that sustained soldiers during the war. Visitors may also try the shooting range, where historic weapons can be fired under supervision (optional activity).

Return to Ho Chi Minh City

After exploring the tunnels, relax on the journey back to Ho Chi Minh City, where the tour concludes with drop-off at District 1 or the original meeting point.

• Children under 4 years old: Free of charge. Parents are responsible for their children’s meals and entrance tickets (if applicable).

• Children from 10 years old and above: Charged 100% of the adult price.

Cancellation Policy

• Immediately after booking: 10% cancellation fee of the total tour price.

• 10 working days before departure: 30% cancellation fee of the total tour price.

• 7 days before departure: 40% cancellation fee of the total tour price.

• 3 days before departure: 80% cancellation fee of the total tour price.

• 2 days before departure or no-show: 100% cancellation fee of the total tour price.
